Soldier's Angels was incorporated in the state of Nevada in June 2003. Their mission statement reads:" Soldiers' Angels provides aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard,, and their families and to improve the lives of a growing veteran population."

SPC Casgide was an Army Troop from Fort Carson, Colorado.
