Ed Note: Previously an element assigned to the Joint Readines Training Center (JRTC) at Fort Polk, Louisiana, the 142nd Corps Support Battalion was reorganized and redesignated as the 142nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion and reassigned to the 15th Sustainment Brigade. As a result, it moved from Fort Polk to Fort Hood, Texas.
