TSgt Shelby, on the envelope containing the donated coin, lists 18 AMXS (18th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 1 AMXS (1st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron), and 48 AMXS (48th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron), which may indicate that the 44th Aircraft Maintenance Unit was an embrella organization containing those 3 aircraft maintenance squadrons.
