The 15th Finance Battalion is in direct support of the 1st Cavalry Division. The Battalion services approximately 18,000 soldiers. 15th Finance Battalion provides a trained and ready deployable force to support all units in its area of responsibility throughout the continuum of peace and war. Ensure the financial readiness of supported units prior to deployment. Disseminate policy guidance, assist unit commanders, support contracting and commercial vendor services, and provide continuous finance support. Provide DS to 1CD, HQS AAFES, Bell Helicopter, Federal Agency Fort Worth, SW Engineers, DLA and the Dallas MEPS, totaling in excess of 18,000 accounts.
