Each color in the eagle's wings represents a different battalion within the 2nd Brigade Combat Team. There are currently six units represented by the following colors:

Red Falcons = 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment

White Falcons = 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment

Grey Falcons = 1Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment

Gold Falcons = 407th Brigade Support Battalion

Black Falcons = 2nd Battalion,319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment

Green Falcons = 2nd Brigade, Special Troops Battalion
