Round shaped, pewter colored coin, 1½ inches in diameter.
SIDE 1 - A disc containing a red devil's head in front of a black concave quadrilateral, flanked by two black ammo pots with red flames and the words, "JERSEY DEVILS" in a horizontal line above; On the edge of the disk, the name "177th FW" above and the words, "IF YOU ANI'T AMMO YOU AIN'T SHIT"; all within a narrow pewter colored border.
SIDE 2 - A pair of dice with ammo pots on the visible sides and the words, "BONE CHIPS AND PINK MIST" above, along the angle formed by the top of the two dice; Along the edge of the disc, the words, "TAKE A CHANCE AND ROLL THE DICE" above, and "PROVIDE THE ENEMY THE OPPORTUNITY TO DIE FOR HIS COUNTRY" below.
The 177th Fighter Wing, New Jersey Air National Guard is a community-based force located at the Atlantic City International Airport. The unit flies the F-16C/D aircraft. This version of the "Fighting Falcon" features many new and upgraded aircraft Systems. Known as the Jersey Devils, the wing's federal mission is to provide combat ready personnel, aircraft and equipment for worldwide deployment in support of US Air Force objectives. The 177th's state mission is to protect life and property, provide disaster relief, and ensure public safety when called upon by the Governor. The wing's community role is to participate in events that add value to the community.
