Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 14 (NMCB-14)

NMCB 14 is tasked with providing advance base construction, battle damage repair, contingency engineering, humanitarian assistance and disaster recovery support to our fleet and unified commanders.

NMCB FOURTEEN's mission is to provide rapid, high-quality,"built-to-code" construction support to the Navy and Marine Corps; conduct defensive combat, humanitarian assistance, and disaster recovery operations; and maintain a high state of mobilization readiness. The Battalion consists of over 600 Ready Reserve Seabees who train at 10 Navy Operational Support Centers (NOSCs) located throughout Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Puerto Rico. They are headquartered at the Readiness Support Site in Jacksonville, FL.

NMCB-14 is a reserve commissioned unit in the First Naval Construction Division, and is one of three units under the Third Naval Construction Regiment. NMCB-14 supports Commander, Naval Reserve Readiness Command Region Southeast.
