A note enclosed with the coin states, "This coin has flown in combat on 9 different B-1B bombers over Afghanistan. It accumulated 114 flying hours and saw 16,000 pounds of munitions expended in support of our coalition forces on the ground in harms way. MORS AB ALTO" NOTE: "Mors ab alto" in Latin translates to "Death from above"
