The 2nd Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery is stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, separate from the rest of the 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, which is garrisoned at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Per Wikipedia, the inactivation of the 2nd Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery is scheduled for 2017.
