Round shaped antique brass colored coin, 1 3/4 inches in diameter

The USS Michael Murphy is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer named after Lt. (SEAL) Michael P. Murphy, the first person awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously for actions in Afghanistan and the first member of the U.S. Navy to receive the award since the Vietnam War.

On May 23, 2013, the destroyer held its first change of command ceremony at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Cmdr. Thomas E. Schultz turned over command to Cmdr. Corey J. Turner.
