The Armor of God coin, was originally designed to be given to Christian Chaplains, to boost their spirits for their efforts within military affairs. As the coins were given out their popularity quickly spread throughout the world. Now the Armor of God coin is purchased and used by various types of individuals and organizations who consider themselves warriors belonging to the Army of God.

On the front side of the coin are two shields bearing the letters "RWH," which stand for "Return With Honor."

This coin was donated by Chaplain Tim Shepherd, who was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, home based at Fort Riley, Kansas.
