The 506th Air Expeditionary Group (506th AEG) is a provisional US Air Force Unit garrisoned at Joint Base Balad in Iraq. Approximately 1,000 active duty, Reserve and air National guard airman were assigned to the 506th AEGduring any given Air and Space Expeditionary Force rotation.

The 506th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron was inactivated on May 28, 2010.
