The coin depicts Saint Barbara, "the Patron Saint of Artillerymen."

The donor, SFC Coleman, was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 4th Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Headquartered at Fort Hood, Texas. SFC Coleman was deployed to Kuwait in August 2013.
