MAJ Ruths writes: "704th Brigade Support Battalion Coin. This diamond shaped coin shows the crest of the 704th BSB and the words 'Task Force Blacksmith' around it. The reverse show US and Afghan flags, images of Lieutenant Colonel and Command Sergeant Major rank and a map of Afghanistan. It also says, 'Presented for Combat Excellence - OEF XIII' on the reverse. The 704th BSB is assigned to the 4th Infantry Brigade Company (Combat) Team of the 4th Infantry Division. The unit was deployed to FOB Fenty, Afghanistan from March to December 2012."
