Narrative

Renaissance-era shield shaped coin, antique brass in color, 2 1/2 inches high x 2 1/4 inches wide.

MAJ Ruths writes: "302nd Brigade Support Battalion Coin ('Iron Horse' on the front with an image of a horse and an M-1 tank laid on top of the unit crest {of the battalion} which makes up the shield shape of the coin. The {reverse} side features both a US and Korean flag background along with images of our {2nd} Division patch, images of Lieutenant Colonel and Command Sergeant Major insignias, and images of the Army branches that made up the battalion {Ordnance, Quartermaster, and Medical Service}). This was a unit that the company I commanded fell under from 2004 to 2006. This unit was stationed at Camp Casey, Korea, and is still there today."
