Round shaped coin, brass in color, 2 inches in diameter.

The 23rd Area Support Group was inactivated in June 2006.

MAJ Ruths writes: "23rd Area Support Group Coin. This is a gold in color coin that features the unit name, the unit's symbol, Colonel {insignia} and Command Sergeant Majo {insignia} on the front. The reverse shows yin-yan US and Korea flags. This coin is from 2003-2004 for a unit that is now deactivated {in June 2006} and was stationed at Camp Humphrys, Korea."
