Rolling Thunder is a motorcycle run and First Amendment demonstration which began in 1988 to bring awareness to the POW/MIA issue and achieve full accountability for, and the return of all service members, alive or dead, who were abandoned after the Vietnam War. The first run had roughly 2500 motorcycles and riders and it continues to grow every year to become the world's largest single-day motorcycle event. Now with over a million riders and spectators combined, Rolling thunder has evolved into an emotional display of patriotisn and respect for all who defend our country.
