Narrative

Round shaped coin, pewter in color, 1 5/8 inches in diameter.

SIDE 1 - an aqua-colored disc with an aircraft drawing a red heart-shaped enclosure around a USAF symbol; at the outer edge, the words, "THE AIR FORCE SPOUSE" above, and "HEART OF THE TEAM" below; all enclosed by a narrow pewter colored border.

SIDE 2- An Air Force Material Command insignia on a yellow disc surrounded by a dark blue ring edged in pewter containing the words, "MISSION READINESS" above, "THROUGH FAMILY READINESS" below, and four 5-pointed stars on the right and left.
