SIDE 1 - A black disc surmounted by a blue globe with white grid lines, in turn surmounted by a crossed white sword and red guidon beneath a white triangle; over the black disc, a 4 pointed North Star and over that a yellow lightning bolt arcing between the tip of the sword and the top of the guidon; above the disc, a white banner with the words, "32d COMBAT COMM SQ," below it, a white banner with the words, "OUT IN FRONT;" all surrounded by a wide gold border.

SIDE 2 - A gold disc on which the sylized rear end of a black bovine with light colored detail, and the coin number 242 engraved between its legs, all surrounded by the words, "IF YOU ARE NOT OUT IN FRONT THE VIEW NEVER CHANGES.'
