Round shaped coin, antique pewter in color, 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

SIDE 1 - A map of Texas with Houston and Austin represented by 5-pointed stars; an open parachute landing center or the map; on the outer edge and following the countour of the coin, "CO. G. 143D INF LRRP" above and, "HOUSTON/AUSTIN" below; to the left of the parachute, "APRIL, DENMARK, NORWAY, ENGLAND", to the right, "1980, GERMANY, FRANCE, ITALY" surrounded by a narrow border.

SIDE 2 - Crossed bowie knives behind a beret with 143rd Infantry Regimen insignia; to the left, the 36th Infantry Division insignia with Airborne Tab surrounded by a narrow border.
