Round shaped spinner, pewter in color, 2 1/4 inches in diameter.

SIDE 1 - Shield shaped spinner with the 49th Transportation Battalion insignia center, Lieutenant Colonel's oak leaf at top left and Sergeant Major's insignia of rank at top right; all surrounded by a wide band, orange above with the words, "49th TRANSPORTATION BATTALION" and black below with the words, "AWARDED FOR EXCELLENCE."

Unit Insignia Description - A shield spinner with, center, a red compass card in perspective and a buff colored truck above; below the shield, a scroll inscribed "WE NEVER STOP."

U.S. Army Lt. Col. Myron Bell and Command Sgt. Maj. Juan Diaz de Leon, the command team of the 49th Movement Control Battalion, 3rd Sustainment Brigade, cased their unit guide-on during a ceremony at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, April 15, 2015. 49th Movement Control Battalion relinquished authority of operations to the 419th Movement Control Battalion, U.S. Army Reserves- Bartonville, Ill., after they completed their nine-month mission in Afghanistan and Kuwait.
