COMBAT PATCHES PRESENTED TO 875TH ENGINEER CO. IN AFGHANISTAN:

"Soldiers for the 875th Engineer Co. of the N.C. National Guard, based in North Wilksboro and Lexington, were presented 130 Maneuver Enhancement Brigade (MEB) soldier sleeve insignia (combat patches) during a ceremony at Camp Marmal in Afghanistan on Oct. 18.

They received this honor for serving under the 130th Brigade for over 30 consecutive days in a deployed status. . . . . . . The 875th is stationed in northern Afghanistan while conducting engineer operations."
