Narrative

Round shaped coin pewter in color, 2 1/4 inches in diameter.

1st Battalion, 487th Field Artillery Regiment, Hawaii Army National Guard.

The 1st Battalion, 487th Field Artillery Regiment is equipped with the M101A1 howitzer and is a direct support artillery battalion to the 29th Infantry Brigade. The Unit's motto is "Hiki No" which means "can do always." The battalion consists of three firing batteries and a headquarters service battery.
