Narrative

SIDE ONE: Combative desert crusader wielding a sword and shield. The white shield is emblazoned with a red cross, its vertical arm inscribed, "CRUSADERS" in white. From top-left to bottom-right, the shield quarters are labelled, "1AD", "CAB", "HHC", and "2-501ST". The bottom quarters of the shield also carries the 1st Armored Division insignia on the left and an unidentified insignia on the right.

SIDE TWO: The white shield displays from top to bottom, the Army aviation insignia, the motto, "FOR EXCELLENCE", and the 1st Armored Division insignia. Beneath the wings of the Aviation insignia, a CPT insignia of rank on the left and Command Sergeant Major on the right.
