SIDE ONE: Bullet projectile shaped coin 1 3/4 inches high x 2 1/2 inches wide; at the projectile base from top to bottom, an explosion depiction, the word, "EXPLOSIVE" and the number, "1.1"; at the tip, the warrant officer insignia on which the warrant officer ranks have been superimposed. and the words, "PRESENTED FOR EXPLOSIVE EXCELLENCE" - all on an orange background surrounded by a pewter rim.
