Coin Number 091 The 821st Transportation Battalion is a Motor Transportation Battalion, based in Topeka. Unit members served as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004.

Unit Crest - design approved Nov 26, 1971. The annulet refers to a wheel and symbolizes the basic aspects and mission of the organization, The linden leaf refers to service in Central Europe during World War II and the sunflower refers to Kansas, present home area of the Battalion. Motto: "THE WHEELS WITH PRIDE"
