Arrowhead shaped, pewter colored coin, 2- 1/4 inches high by 1 1/2 wide.

SIDE 1 - The spearhead shape of the coin references the comment made by General Petreaus that the transition teams were *the tip of the spear" bringing new change to Iraq. The mountain range depicted is the Zagros Mountain Range on the Iraq/Iran border; the humvee refers to the team transports; and the donkey loaded with war gear refers to the team name - War Donkey - which carries the load and defense needed to win.

SIDE 2 - Border Transition Team 4313 provided combat advice to Iraq Department of Border Enforcement Team 383. the crossed flags represent the shared united effort to provide boder security and the battlements in the background are an accurate picture of the border castles the team worked from.
