Narrative

Round shaped, with two crossed cannons protuding from sides, gold colored coin - circular part of coin is 1¾ inches in diameter.

The 4-320th FAR deploys world wide within 36 hours to provide direct supporting fires for the 506th Regimental Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). On order, 4-320th FAR conducts air assault operations in support of the brigade scheme of maneuver.

The 4-320th has no history and like the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), prior to World War II, the Battalion will have its rendezvous with destiny. The 4-320th will follow the 320th Field Artillery Regiment's destinguished historic example in defending America.
