Round shaped coin, brass in color, 2 1/4 inches in diameter.

SIDE 1 - A wide brown ring with a scalloped brass outer border and the words, "COBRA STRIKE BATTALION" at the top, the words,

"1-43 ADA" at the bottom, a Lietenant Colonel's silver oak leaf rank insignia on the left, and a Sergeant Major's rank insignia on the right; a brass colored Air and Missile Defense Artillery insignia with an entwined cobra facing forward inserted in the center of the ring.

SIDE 2 - A wide brown ring with a scalloped brass outer border and the words, PRESENTED FOR EXCELLENCE" at the top, the words, "FORT BLISS, TEXAS" at the bottom, the 11th ADA Bde insignia on the left and the 43rd ADA Regt. Insignia on the right; a brass colored Air and Missile Defense Artillery insignia with an entwined cobra facing to the rear inserted in the center of the ring.
