103d Field Artillery Brigade Headquarters and Headquarters Battery

MISSION: "To destroy, neutralize, or suppress the enemy by cannon fire and help integrate all fire support assets into combined arms operations."

The Headquarters of the 103d Field Artillery Brigade, Rhode Island Army National Guard, is located in the Armory of Mounted Commands, 1051 North Main Street, Providence, Rhode Island 02904. Within the Rhode Island Army National Guard, the 103d Field Artillery Brigade exercises command and control over the 1st Battalion, 103d Field Artillery, and its three (3) Firing Batteries. The firing batteries of the 103d Field Artillery are equipped with the M-198 Towed Howitzer. Also attached to the brigade is a light maintenance company.
