Narrative
Round shaped coin antique brass in color, 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
SIDE 1 - An eagle in flight with a length of babed wire in its talons in front of a U.S. Flag blowing in the wind; above the eagle the letters, "POW-MIA"; all surrounded by a wide band with narrow borders with the words, "Gone but not forgotten . . ." above and "Continuous Vigil" below, separated by 5-point stars on left and right.
SIDE 2 - The national POW-MIA symbol depicted in black and antiue brass, surrounded by barbed wire and a narrow border.
The POW-MIA symbol here is a disk on a black background bearing in black silhouette, the bust of a man facing right, a watch tower wirh a guard on patrol and a strand of barbed wire; above the disk are the letters "POW - MIA" separated by a 5-pointed star; below the disk, a wreath and the words, "YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN.
