Round shaped coin, antique brass in color, 1 3/4 inches in diameter.

136th Quartermaster Battalion.

SIDE 1:The 136th Support Battalion unit crest consists of a disc with 6 wavy blue and silver bands, upon an antique key, wards down, and on each side of the bow the head of a bison, all silver, facing to the right and left, all above a buff motto scroll inscribed "STRENGTH SPIRIT SERVICE" in silver letters. To the left of the crest, a Sergeant Major's insignia of rank; to the right, a Lieutenant Colonel's insignia of rank.

SIDE 2: An outline map of North Dakota containing a list of the subordinate units of the 136th Quartermaster Battalion surrounded clockwise from the left; the North Dakota Army National Guard sleeve insignia, the Ordnance Corps insignia, the Quartermaster Corps Insignia, and the National Guard Minuteman.

ED Note: The 136th Quartermaster Battalion has since become the 136th Support Battalion (136th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion).
